ABOUT THE PROJECT

Located in Grand Central Terminal, a world-famous landmark and transportation hub in Midtown Manhattan, the Great Northern Food Hall was developed by acclaimed Danish chef and restaurateur Claus Meyer, co-founder of Noma. The food hall brings to life culinary concepts, flavors, and ideas that are rooted in the history and landscapes of Nordic countries. The food hall features five pavilions: Open Rye (dedicated to traditional Danish sandwiches), Brownsville Roasters (coffee), Grain Bar (sweet and savory porridges), Meyers Bageri (bread and pastry), and Almanak (salads, juices, and vegetable-driven small bites).
